Indy is here!

Indy Georgia Rose graced us at 1am this morning.
Baby #4 for brother 3.
8lbs 3 oz.
Has her Dads huge nose.

Tyler-Jay and Indy.
3 week age gap.
They are going to be tyrants, I know it.

May I explain my brothers name choices ...
Coral - from Coral Reef. If she were a boy, we would be calling him Reef right now.
Waimea - Waimea Bay Beach, Hawaii.
Ngawi - Ngawi Beach, Wairarapa
Indy - Indicators Point in Raglan. Indicators is the third break of the world class Raglan point breaks. Indicators is a long left hand point break on a boulder/rock beach. The wave is the longest, fastest wave out of the three Raglan points. The wave has two main parts, Outers and Insides. Outers is further out at the point (West end) and starts with a gnarly drop in, into a fast barrel section.

I wondered whether or not he was smoking something, but found the name was suggested by one of his sausage sizzle mates.

Graduands entry.

Tyler graduated today with her Cert. in Maori Performing Arts.
It's been a long time coming and was a pretty proud moment considering it took her longer than the actual certificate takes.
A great incentive to continue and look ahead.

It was all worth it. They're pretty amazing.

Ka mau te wehi Ty ;)

The Avi Doll.

She could pass for a doll.
I wrapped her up just like I wrapped Baby Ty the other day.

She cute.

TyTy - 2 weeks.

He's alert.
He's impatient.
He likes the camera.

Today at basketball, Hubs scored 4 points for her team and they won their game.

Long week.

We discovered the new baby likes Africa by Toto.

It's been a long busy week and that's without the baby being here.

I've been overwhelmed with church stuff all week. Every day has revolved around church this week. I'm not complaining, it's just the first time I've ever put any real effort into 'serving'. Our Youth started a 12 week challenge two weeks ago. It's a good thing, they're getting into the spirit of the challenge. It's inspiring.

Yesterday they did The Amazing Race around Hawkes Bay and it was pretty amazing and I'm not talking about the two times I almost crashed (because we wanted to win) or all the swearing I did while driving.
Group Red - My group. Silver Medalists.

Group yellow - The Winning group

Group Blue - The group that came last and the group we wanted to beat.

I lost my mojo in the first two weeks so my challenge is for the next 10 weeks. We will end it at the temple at the end of May. I spent last week finding names for our kids to take through and found 75 family members that need their work done. It was a pretty awesome find.

Life lately.

Hub's and our TyTy .. and that teddy bear.

Protecting him from that one fly in the house.

He's delish and his Aunty Avi still isn't too sure about him.

Three freeloaders now.

A visit to The Livians was a good break away from being stuck in the house for a week. I forgot to take a photo of Avi while we were there. She is huge now. A tower compared to the new Chinese Prince.

Tonight The Tylers are sleeping away from home. I'm taking advantage of the scream-less night and going to bed earlier than usual. I thanked Mitchy this morning for dealing with Hubba as a newborn.
I would have lost my mind years ago had it been my job. This is probably why Tyler needs 3 Mums to help her with one job, but she's doing well regardless of my thinking she's a cabbage most days.

Monday to Wednesday.

For those who didn't follow the Instagram updates from the 6th to the 8th.

Today he had his heel prick test.
I lost my ish.
I'm softer than I thought.

Meet TJ.

He's pretty delish.

Aunty Avi visited today and pretty much wants him gone.

Happy Birthday to me.

It's been a long 3-days.

Birthday Week.

Larry would have been 57 today.
On Wednesday I will be 38.
Rome will be 9 on Thursday.
Anytime now, we could have our baby boy.
I hope it's on Wednesday myself!

Love you forever and always mate!
See you when I get there.

Book Two.
Click image for the link out.

The happenings.

I finally finished the second book. I'm still an amateur when it comes to writing a book, but I managed to pull it all together and got decent sales on the first book and enough people to moan about when the second book was coming out. I was late in completing it for sponsors and lost a few, as mentioned before, but I got through it and it's done. There are still a few things to do before the paperback version will be available, but the digital file is good to go.

Tyler's about ready to blow. She finished work this week and has been home resting or following me wherever I go. The nesting phase hasn't come yet, but her parents bought her a changing table this morning that has found a place in my living room because we have too much baby stuff everywhere else. Hopefully looking at it every day will inspire her.

We got rid of Hub's this morning and went to see Shaily at the Relay for Life event at the sports park in town. She's running/walking for 12 hours. It was pretty inspiring and I got me a squad to do it with next year.

Big sister and little sister yesterday. Avis is going to eat the new baby up.

Shaily got her braces off during the week.

Hub's is going fantastic at school .. and she's been wearing that dress since Wednesday.

Summer part 2

Nessa envisioned this shoot with my nephew Ellis. They pulled it all together very well. Hubs was supposed to be in it, but got stage fright...
