Early morning.

My body told me it was time to get up at 5:45 this morning. I have an inkling to wake the child up and go to McDonalds for breakfast while Tony's rotates my tyres.

It's the holidays that throws things out of whack and probably a little bit of anxiety. If I know someone is going to come to my house at the ass crack of dawn, I can't sleep because I know I'll get angry when they bang on my window to rouse us. Knowing this makes me sleepless.

Brother 1 heads to Auckland today to go back to Australia for work. It's usually a trip I'd make with them all, but I am not going to Auckland in 2015 unless it's for myself. I'm awaiting his bang on the window.

There are a few things I'd like to accomplish in 2015 and most of them require me to just stay home.

I'd like to go to the temple more than once this year. I have this issue about having no one to go with me, but that's a pathetic excuse for not attending and it shouldn't fly anymore.

Pre-season is upon us. The smell of Super Rugby season lingers in the air. At 6am, I looked up the fixtures and got myself butterflies in my stomach about it. It's the greatest thing ever. Aren't you so excited?
