Kiwigardens Snack review.

My order from Kiwigardens came today.

I've had freeze dried peanut butter cookies before, purchased from Frys Electronics in Burbank, from the astronaut section. The cookies were great, near magical. These were strange, but what you'd expect from freeze dried food. They pass the test on flavour. The flavours are all there and you get a burst of it when chew into it, but there's the problem. They remind me of tiny meringues and the more you chew, the more pasty they get until ultimately you have a clump sticking to your teeth. Not sure how I feel about that in the long run oral health wise, but my partial thumbs up is due to Kiwigardens natural approach complex. I think they'd bode well crushed and sprinkled over a panna cotta with a coulis consistent with the flavour, but the jury is still out as far as lunch snacks are concerned.

She loved them. L-O-V-E-D.

Cannot bring myself to add them to her lunch box menu.
