Part of the Nursing application is to get a Level 2 First Aid certificate. It's a 14.5 hour course and that may not seem like a long time, but it was. Today was day 1 of the 2 day course and it was so stressful that I wanted to stab myself in the eye just to be done with it.
The lecturer is awesome, but if she made less jokes and got on with the courseware, I'm pretty sure we'd be spared 3 hours. When I have something to do the next day, I get anxiety and can't sleep properly. I woke up at 3am this morning and listened to ZB Talkback re: NZ Immigration and similar stories to Larrys situation (a dude is being deported from NZ for being 2 marks over the average BMI for his age becoming a health risk and reliant on the NZ Health System - which costs money NZ doesn't want to pay for him) I couldn't get back to sleep easily. When I did fall asleep at 6am I dreamed that we went to a Pub for the course and I couldn't find a babysitter so had to take the child with me.
Long day calls for an early night.
Glad Day 2 is only 5 hours long and not 9.5.
I'm still coming to terms with how draining it was today.
Then there's this.
MAC is protesting that unregistered players played during the MAC vs Havelock game. I think there's a chance it could go in MACS favor, but at this point .. the season is over and not too many players turned up to lastnights 'meeting'.
As you can see .. only loyal Demps.
