GP rang first thing this morning to ask if we had heard anything yet from the renal specialist. At 8am, no we hadn't. After a few phone calls she called back to tell us he needed to be in the clinic for bloods and in the radiology department for surgery. The only option is to insert another tunnel line into his neck and go a few rounds of haemo to stabalize him as he's been overloaded for a week now and things are only getting worse.

I knew breaking the news to him wouldn't be pretty and after some anger, tears and prayers he agreed.

A 1.30pm appointment was met. Im not even going to worry right now about how we're going to fund this because he will be well and that's all that matters at the moment.

In Revelations 7:17 we read that part of Christ’s mission is to heal broken hearts. He came to wipe away our tears, not to ensure that we would never weep.

We are in the Acute Assessment Unit awaiting for his obs to normalize post surgery. We should be home soon.

I wasn't allowed to watch this time round and after seeing the theatre where they did the surgery, our Auckland experience was gangsta in comparison.

Haemo tomorrow.

Missed my brothers LDS sealing to his wife and 5 of their kids today. A tunnel line insertion was well worth the missage.
