Lemon Coconut Slice.

75g butter

300g Condensed milk.

Zest & juice of 1 lemon.

150g crushed arrow-root cookies and not pictured is 1 cup of rolled oats and 1/2 c of desiccated coconut.

Mix together and chill for an hour and drizzle with 1/4 c of icing sugar and lemon juice.



Hub's said it's not like chocolate.
120 cals per slice, it's nothing like chocolate.

That 5:2 diet.

What's something in America that's like arrowroot biscuits?

The only thing I found that was pretty close was Marie cookies. They were more like NZ's Wine biscuits, but pretty close to the arrowroot in taste!

Sounds delicious! I'm going to the store tonight to get the ingredients.

They used to sell arrowroot biscuits for toddlers in the baby food aisle. Haven't shopped in that aisle for a long time but will check.

Two thumbs up from Arizona! My husband & I both love it. I did substitute a mixture of grains for the oats; oats don't like me. So I bought a mix of oats, barley, flax & something else. Does this make it count as healthy? Lol Thanks for sharing. My husband doesn't like coconut but loves this. Will share some with my mother on Wednesday.
