I remember analyzing the score of the the Hallelujah Chorus as a 15 year old at High School. I listened to it on repeat for months (on a Walkman!) and learned to love a song, especially the trumpet at bar 57, I use to think hideous. I saw posts on my news feed a few weeks regarding acquaintances participating in the chorus.
