Dinner tonight.

It's a crock pot kind of day. Looking at the forecast for the next ten days, it looks like summer may have left us completely. The hottest day is around the mid 20s. Today is 14 and it's raining. Good times.

I saw this recipe on the Tasty Meals page and I saved it weeks ago so that I could make it. The time has come and I woke up this morning and got everything ready for the chickens long stew in the crock pot.

For those who don't want to look up the recipe:

Chicken Thighs (I used ten)
1 c soy sauce
1 c honey
2 Tbsp crushed garlic
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp basil
1 tsp pepper
5 potatoes quartered
Baby Carrots.

Not pictured:
Add green beans in the last hour
Optional: Broil/Grill the chicken for 3 minutes in the oven before serving.

Hub's helped cut the potatoes and almost took off a finger. Also helped peel the carrots and almost skinned herself. Her last job was turning the dial to low cook. She did that like a boss. She's been running to and from the crock pot for the last ten minutes to see if it's cooked yet.

Delicious.
