Dinner prep on Friday.

Dust in the air always makes for a bad photo especially when you use a flash. Light from the flash reflects off of the dust particles and is visible in the shot as the infamous orb.

When the dust particles are closer to the camera it usually blurs the entire image to the point nothing can be made out in the captured shot because it's out of focus. It's a problem that can be easily recreated by taking a photo after you whack something that creates dust.

This is not an orb.
The original.

Highlight up.

Shadow down.
