Operation headboard.

When you obsess about something enough, it will happen. Didn't work with Richie McCaw, but it's worked with the headboard. It's all I've been thinking about for the last month. I saw it on While you were out years ago, but Pinterest had ideas and I followed a basic plan.

Getting everything was a bit of a mission. Plywood cut to size (thanks Mitre 10 Mega), egg crate foam, muslin and quality fabric to cover. The only tools I needed: A staple gun and a Philips screwdriver. Mine has flowers on it ..

Hospital corners! If I learned anything before I dropped out of Nursing school, it was hospital corners.

Total time: 1 hour.

Stud finder .. everyone needs one.
NB: Does not detect studs of the male kind. The only studs in PA are horses.

D-Ring hooks to hang it from the wall using dry wall anchors and a screw. After 30 minutes of muscle strength and several unique swear words later, it was done. I think it's amazing.

Before.

After.

... the color of the wallpaper is a cause for concern.
Total cost: $131.00.
