Clams

There's a seafood place in Santa Barbara, CA that I managed to get the broth recipe from. When I asked at Red Lobster they acted like it was the end of the world.


It's the white wine that does it. So I had to buy some from Pak n Save tonight and all I could think of was what I was going to tell my fellow Mormons who may have happened upon me shopping for white wine.
I represented and got a local white wine from Ngatarawa Stables. A hint of peach, honey and something else I can't remember without looking at the bottle again.

For my spiritual well being, I boiled the broth double time just in case I wake up with a clam broth hang over.

I forgot the salsa .. but it wasn't the end of the world.

Good good stuff.
